My sister bought tickets for her minor son on 3/23. She was told at that time there was a 100 dollar fee for an unaccompanied minor, no problem. We get to the Atlanta Airport for his return flight and are told that we have to pay the 100 dollar fee AGAIN. Thier excuse was that it went up on 4/1 so the 100 dollars they had paid now only covered the first flight. I asked to speak to a manager and the smug arrogant ass behind the counter laughed and said “what for, you want another person to tell you that you aren’t flying today without paying another 100 dollars?” The manager thought it was funny and made it very clear that he had no interest in talking about it, pay the 100 or don’t fly. We are talking about a minor that was “in their care”. All three Delta employees I tried dealing with were arrogant and completely unable to do their job with any type of concern for their customer or even the slightest ethical attempt at doing what was right. Delta will NEVER have the ! opportunity to steal our money again.
