Have you ever tried using your Delta miles? GOOD LUCK!! Seven different trips using a choice of two different airports several different days, and there were no flights available for miles usage. Even one of Delta’s own people told me using their miles was almost impossible. On top af this the Delta ground personnel were about as non caring as the upper management obviously is. I e-mailed Delta with my complaints and got back a standarized letter. DELTA couldn’t care less and as long as people continue to fly them they will continue to crap on their customers. PLEASE TELL EVERYONE DO NOT FLY DELTA. By the way, I have spoken to other people who have miles on other airlines and not one of them has had anywhere near the trouble that Delta presents. I have sent American Express a letter letting them know how it denegrates them with their association with Delta. Next I am writing to every news show (local and national) to ask them to do a story on DELTA’S lack of caring and as far as I am concerned false advertising concerning their Skymiles program (what a joke). Please follow suit and write or call any radio station, TV station, Newspaper, Magazine, or any other organization where we can let the world know how pathetic they are.

I’ve been reading through this site, and I find it very interesting. I fly Delta from time to time, and haven’t noticed any problems, though. I mean, one time I got bumped from a Delta flight because I didn’t check in the prescribed 30 minutes ahead of time, even though I made it to the gate before the flight left. (They gave my seat to a standby passenger.) I didn’t really see that as being their fault, though, and I was put on the next flight at no extra charge. I’m pretty easy going, though, and just kinda roll along with delays (bring a book), lack of blankets (bring a jacket), and overpriced food (bring a sandwich).
