I am currently stuck in Atlanta after they had a technical problem with their plane and the delay cost me to miss my connecting flight.

When we landed I was told to try standby on a later flight which I did. I arrived at the gate for the next flight before other passengers on my flight and got on the standby list. When I noticed other passengers that arrived after me getting placement on the plane I wanted an explanation and was told “it is about fair cost to Delta” by the gate agent.

I contacted Delta’s 800 # to complain and because I was upset the lady was nasty to me. When I asked for her name she hung up on me. I personally feel with that level of service Delta deserves to drive customers off.

Going forward I will not fly DELTA – the meaning of customer service was obviously lost on them.
