DELTA SUCKS!!!

Ok so I bought my tiket to go to Brazil leaving from Washington DCA to JFK, JFK GRU (Sao Paulo) in February/09. 1st. Flight leaving from DCA at 0500pm – 12/18/09. Arrived at the airport at 03:00pm (2 hours before as recommended). Waited in a long line for 1 hr and 30 min, 3 agents only and extremelly slow. When was 4:30pm, an agent came and said “JFK pelase follow me” My husband and I went to the 1st floor following the agent and more a group of 6 people. Note that we were one of the firsts online before and now since we moved to another line we were the lasts. So when the other slow agent was doing the check in for our JFK group when there was one person before us, the agent said “oh I’m sorry but they cut out your seats” It was 04:50pm 10 minutes BEFORE our departure time. She informed that they have this policy of cutting of seats 20 minutes before which obviously us passenger had no idea about it. So we were unable to do the check in and all the flights to NYC were full and due to a snow storm not we will maybe leave US to Brazil on 12/20. Not to mention that I’m going to Brazil for my wedding and had everything scheduled rehersal, guests arriving and I’m NOT gonna be there because of Delta, their incompetence, poor service and cheap excuses. I HATE DELTA and I’m filing a complaint at the BBB Better Business Bureau against them now.

My boyfriend just experienced a similar situation today flying from JFK Delta (2/11/2010)…I’m trying to all Delta to compensate us!!!!!!
