Looked into return flights three months in advance from Atlanta to Edinburgh.

On Delta.com I was quoted a price of $1977 per person and then when I compared elsewhere the flights (same day, depart and arrive time, flight numbers and class ) were $790.

I contacted Delta and asked their international and online dept. about their ‘Best Fare Guarantee’ as advertised online – they said that since it was deemed codeshare flight with Air France they couldn’t match their price of $790 (or even KLM’s price of $790)….even though they advertise the flight as a DL flight……

In summary DL customer service is a joke and lack common sense considering I am a Platinum Medallion customer. I obviosuly just went ahead and cancelled and rebooked on another carrier….moving forward I refuse to give them anymore money.
