My 81 year old mother flew to Kansas City today to visit my sister. She left Hartford at 9:30 a.m. and was supposed to be in KC by 2:00 p.m. She just arrived (9:30 p.m.). She was supposed to connect in Detroit with a flight directly to KC. They changed gates 4 times during a 3 hour period before they finally said the flight was cancelled for lack of passengers. They then said her only option was to take a flight from Detroit to Atlanta in order to get to Kansas. And they were rather rude about it all. To top it off they lost her luggage. She will never fly again. Don’t fly Delta. No one in our family or circle of friends ever will.
