So my story is that they switched planes in Phoenix before my flight to Salt Lake and on to Spokane.. For some reason they had to remove fuel from the plane and we were therefore delayed. We were told our connections were all ok and to speak to the gate agent for additional info…

First, this mythical person did …not appear at the gate.

Second, when I got to the gate for my connection, the gate agent said it was closed and I probably took too much time getting off the original plane … I could see the plane right there at the gate.. But apparently they couldnt let me on as they had some “paperwork to do” and apparently couldnt multi-task to let one more passenger on.. Thankfully I got a full $6.00 to eat a meal during my stay in SLC…
