My name is Melissa(alias used) and I used to work for NW before this atrocious airline took over NW and literally destroyed it. The CEO Richard Anderson is a ruthless, arrogant, greedy SOB who cares about one thing, how much moolah can I pocket? This prick used to be CEO of NW and he attempted to bust the union but thank God didn’t prevail. Now. he is jumping through hoops to pull the same BS at Delta. The reason why the employees at Delta are so rude and apathetic is simple. The compnay treats them like crap and this rubs off on to the employees which in turn rubs off onto the passengers. I work in a call center and believe me when I say NW did have their problems but at Delta the problems are so vast that to just scratch the surface would take two weeks. This crappy airline literally cancels more flights than depart and their attitude is Just Let It Go. Their computer system is archaic. NW had a far superior system and worked like a charm for the most part. This system SUCKS!!!! Their lack of training is absurd and the call center job at Delta is literally a sweatshop. Anything that happens in the world reservations has to deal with. Former NW employees are disgusted that this crappy carrier took over and ruined their carrers and livelihood. Delta just doesn’t care that they are atrocious becasue their perception of themselvers is they are phenomenal. My heart goes out to all you former NW people regardless what you do for Delta. God knows we were totally against this merger and I just want to close by saying Thanks Delta for destroying me and my colleagues. But remember what goes around comes around so be patient because one day it will come back and bite you HARD in the ass!!!
